很棒的晚餐

今天下午我们喝了杯咖啡，决定今天晚上回去吃晚饭。首先要说的是，女服务员的服务很棒。（不知道她的名字，但她是西班牙人）。这里的食物令人难以置信，土耳其风格，充满风味和小菜，所以您可以选择。我们相信我们会尽快返回。

我们的第三次住宿

我们四个人刚从半岛的8天住宿加早餐旅馆返回。我们喜欢这个位置-靠近城镇，就在四英里海滩对面。
房间非常好，带有良好的浴室。我们有海景套房。良好的设施包括游泳池（一年中的这个时间太危险，无法入海），以及使用洗衣机和干衣机。
我们喜欢吃早饭，有时是午餐，经常是晚餐。食物质量很好，但是中东主题有点乏味。一些“普通”的菜会很好。优秀的筹码。一两个早上他们的人手短缺，服务有点慢。
使半岛成为职员的原因，包括接待人员，侍应生以及家政服务。很高兴回来，毫无疑问我们会的。

Charming practical boutique hotel in Port Douglas

Port Douglas peninsula boutique hotel is a well located cute hotel that has character. Only 5 mns walk from Main Street - shops & look out point and accross from the sea/ beach .
The manager and staff are very nice and helpful .
Upon arrival my room was great and clean .
Mattress and pillows were very comfortable too.
Air conditioning worked well and there were no bugs.
The included breakfast was fabulous and dinner nice .
This hotel could be a jewel but at some point needs a bit of TLC renovation ( repainting / changing floor going to rooms / and cleaner in corridors/ and pool area)
Aside from that I would highly recommend and will be back !

Great spot, lovely stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Peninsula. Easy transport arranged from Cairns airport with front door drop off. The room (Executive Pool view) was clean and spacious, with everything we needed. The complementary breakfast at HiTide restaurant was a highlight of each day, looking out over four mile beach was bliss. We also took advantage of Happy Hour each day. The pool area was lovely and peaceful. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Great spot close to the beach and Main Street; we would definitely stay again!

Good location but terrible service and dirty facilities

1. The bathroom (toilet, shower, etc) it’s super dirty.
2. Towels: I didn’t receive towels for the shower only a mat, the second day I mentioned this and after arriving from one tour, no towels again. As I had to leave, I will ask for those but when I arrived, no one in reception, I easily entered to the “ security” room and there’s no one
I had to take towels from the pool
3. Bed… smells bad
4. Not all but the majority of the people, with exception of on girl (long hair) at the reception and the Spanish guy at the restaurant, seems to hate their job, looked you like they don’t want you at the hotel… bad attitude
5. Meals at the restaurant, super poor quality. The waffles are like frozen food, chai tea terrible and a flat white … same. You have at the entrance that there’s good coffee an it was terrible
This is not a four star hotel, the worst one during my travel in Australia.

We are so sorry that you had a bad experience and you never mentioned this whilst you were staying with us as we would have strived to improve your experience. the lovely receptionist did ask you at the time of check out if you enjoyed your stay and you didn't bring any of these points to our attention. Hopefully if you visit us again we can deliver a better experience.
