To flee!

One of the worst experiences!
Owners not welcoming at all, cold and haughty, I'll spare you the details.
We were traveling with an 18 month old child, no amenities in the room and surroundings, not at all suitable for children.
Rooms old and not really clean, you neither want to sleep there nor want to wash there. We even found a large spider on the headboard.
Overall poorly maintained place.
Super aggressive guard dog.
Breakfast, really to say that there is breakfast included... bread, jam, coffee and yogurt... basic, not very plentiful, not really the choice of time, everyone at the same table, and you shouldn't make any noise because the family is sleeping...
In short, place to avoid! In all our trips and stopovers, we have never seen this!
I totally do not recommend this place!

Dog: malinois trained to attack dangerous

the owner not being present for our arrival had sent us instructions for our arrival. When I went to park the car outside the dog bit me on the thigh. I protected my face when he jumped towards me again. For the owner, no problem: you will have a bruise!! result sleepless night linked to pain and stress. The next day, in the emergency room: antibiotics, vaccine, painkillers and relaxants, bandage. Fortunately shallow wound perhaps thanks to my jeans. 10 cm hematoma. Obviously not the first person to be modded. Clean room
Breakfast, accompanied by the growling dog which was suddenly attached, very light breakfast, industrial fruit juice, 1 and 1/2 slices of tasteless cake for 2 people, frozen bread put in the oven. Doesn't deserve to be a guest room, especially with a free dog trained to attack!!!

Lovely old mill in the French countryside

We stopped here on our way south, it is about 15 minutes from the motorway and very well signposted. Here you are indeed up for a charming experience, the 12th century stone buildings are incredible and the owner has even prepared a leaflet with the history of this property! There is ample secured parking (a must for us of course), the room was spacious basic but very charming. Breakfast was great, there is all you need and most of what is available is homemade! Cannot ask for more.
