Dozens of Insects in the room and very poor customer service from the hotel and Marriott Corporate
Hotel refused to give me credit for my stay other than the bonus and did not adjust my rate now that I was in a smaller room.
Marriott corporate also did very little as they left the issue to the hotel, what corporate did do was give me the original points I should have receive for my stay in the first place.
Called multiple times to get access to a survey but they refused to share the link or phone to it. Almost the last interaction over the phone was with a “Manager” of customer service from Marriott Corporate which offer first 30,000 and then 40,000 points to make things right. Although I accepted the offer I tried to explain to him what the problem was, he got upset land of course withdrew the offer for the points, so that shows how he stood by his word. He in the end was rude and disrespectful.
After posting on FB, Marriott reached out to me, gave them ALL the details and in the end sided with the hotel and their CS Manager and did nothing to make things better.
Seems like you have to by a Titanium level for them to treat you seriously and respectfully as a customer.
The issue about the insects and poor follow up from the hotel now pales in comparison to how rude their customer service manager was.
After almost 30 years of being a Marriott customer, the message that I got from them is that it is time to switch brands.
I would add a video where you can see all the bugs but Google only allows pictures.
