Perfect location

Fantastic location! Quiet area, but close to restaurants and popular sites. The room is spacious and comfortable. The high ceilings made the room feel even larger. The fridge was a nice size and there was a very sizable wardrobe. The only downside is that there isn’t any AC, so I would not recommend this hotel in summer while temperatures are at around 35°C… with those temps, a fan is not enough.

Although the location of the hotel was ideal our room's location within the hotel was less so. We found it difficult to rest and relax as our room was one of three located in reception. We we're frequently disturbed by guests checking in and out as well as the slamming of the lobby door as people entered and left the premises. Further, our experience was hampered by a broken shower in our room. When we alerted staff to the issue we were met with indifference and a suggestion of how we might fix the shower ourselves. Though one might expect fewer amenities at a budget friendly hotel Galeria River is not that budget friendly and a working shower isn't a high-end amenity.
TLDR: great location, mediocre rooms, poor service

The room was pretty and big enough, also I liked the location:) the staff were helpful and let me check in early.
Only a few things I didn’t like were;
I was not able to find sockets around the bed, and the mirror in the bathroom was hung too high for short people🥲
But it was a nice stay overall!

The property is very close to the city center, located in a beautiful and charming area. We arrived after check-in hours, and they kindly assisted us with the process, making everything smooth and easy. The room includes a small fridge and a kettle, perfect for heating up some water. Highly recommended!

Great experience!

Very beatiful and affordable hotel, the staff was very welcoming and nice and the room was very clean and spacious. Luxurious and big bathroom with two sinks and a walk-in shower. The room showed a great view of the river Ljubljanica. The location is perfect since the city centre is a minute-walk away from the hotel. They did a great job incorporating a modern hotel in a historical building without damaging or changing the exterior.
