Unforgettable weekend in Alvarenga
My wife and two children and I were here the weekend of November 1st. What a great hit!
After check-in Luisa gave us all kinds of useful indications about what to do and see in the area (which is much more than just passing by Bridge 516) and was always attentive and willing to help us with that education and elegance so typical of our Portuguese brothers. Same as Paula who greeted us every morning at breakfast time. Both all sympathy, kindness and professionalism. Just lovely.
The perfect rooms. We were at the "Pedra Posta" and the "Pelourinho de Trancoso" and we loved them. As well as the welcome basket detail with fruit, sweets and water.
All new, clean and decorated with magnificent taste. The bed very comfortable and with beautiful views of the pool, pool that was open although we were already warned that, for the date, the water was colder, as it was good weather, you could lie in the sun on the sun loungers.
On the ground floor, behind the reception room, is the breakfast room with coffee maker, microwave, kettle, cocoa, infusions and different utensils that can be used free 24 hours a day. Quite a detail. In addition, there are also wines and have a refrigerator with soft drinks and mineral waters available to guests: you only have to take them, point the room and then pay at the end of the stay.
The first breakfast: delicious scrambled eggs (Paula prepares them on the spot), juices, jams, cold cuts, different breads, sweets and fruit. All very good. And something very welcome: they have almond milk suitable for people with lactose intolerance.
They also have ample free private parking and are very well located (only 10 minutes walk from Bridge 516).

Best hotel in Alvarega
Excellent location, comfortable rooms, great breakfast and very helpful host Louisa. It’s close to the bridge and boardwalk trail and very good restaurants. It’s a beautiful area and good location for exploring the area. Lots to see and enjoy.

Go to Bridge 516
We rented this accommodation with the aim of making the 516 bridge and the passages of Paiva, I barely called there and put Mrs to the corredeste objective prepared to help solve some of the bureaucracies with the tickets... The absolutely impeccable space... Sympathy 5 stars, hygiene 5 stars, impeccable breakfast...

Next to the suspension bridge “ 516 Arouca”
A hotel in an idyllic setting, from which you can see the 516 Arouca Suspension Bridge and the paiva walkways (you can walk). Everything perfect, very attentive staff. It also has bungalows and a swimming pool. Attentive and very friendly staff.

The best place in the world
I don't even know where to start ⁇
A place full of peace, tranquility and sympathy from the staff.
I have no words to describe how we are received and treated...
We are welcomed as family
Stayed in one of the deluxe villas and highly recommend
A balance between nature and mind. Many places to visit to breathe.
I say with absolute certainty that the five stars that I am giving is too little to evaluate a whole....
