非常好的酒店，家庭出行方便。酒店硬件设施和服务都非常好，市区景点都很近，前台工作人员热情礼貌。住了四晚非常满意。

首先很老派的酒店。
前台排队速度非常慢，一个人checkin大概10分钟.感觉人力不太够
第二个就是他们大厅的导览人员对于周边业务不熟悉，没办法侃侃而谈周围可以玩的地方。只知道叫你去他们的泳池还有购物中心。
第三个是spa基本每天都是满的，排不上号
第四个是所有盥洗用品都是要求了才给
很多员工比较懒散，这个是我对比其他住的酒店哈

Great resort
We stayed from Feb 12 to the 15th at the Marriott Vacation Club Bali Nusa Dua Terraces. This is our second time to Bali and staying at this MVC resort, which is integrated with the Renaissance Bali hotel. This hotel is popular for business conferences and has large banquet and meeting rooms available.
The ATM machine is located towards the conference/banquet side, near the hotel rooms or behind the hotel’s check in desk counters. Unfortunately when we needed to use the ATM to get some local currency, the ATM machine was down. We opted to take the free shuttle to the Bali Collections shopping mall and of course, their three ATM machines were also down or not working properly.
In the end, we hopped on the free shuttle to the Marriott Courtyard/MVC Nusa Dua Garden property and used their working ATM machine and to also look at that property. The Courtyard/MVC Gardens property was nice and is closer/easy walking distance to dining and shopping nearby than the Terraces property. The Terraces property maybe feels a bit more exclusive. We used the Bluebird app to get a rideshare back to the MVC Terraces which was very cheap, probably less than several US dollars.
The MVC Nusa Dua Terraces/Renaissance Hotel have two main restaurants on the ground level for breakfast buffet and our package included daily breakfast. Generally while breakfast service is good and friendly, they won't (can't?) go out of their way to customize items like their crepes. I wanted a filled crepe with some fruits, whipped cream and sauce but they couldn't do it. So I just found some pastries that had whipping cream, got some fruits and sauces and built my own!
The resort also has several restaurants on the main/lobby level as well. On Valentine's day we had dinner at the new steakhouse restaurant, Steaksmith. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, the excellent and friendly service, and would highly recommend dining there.
We had a two bedroom villa at the Terrraces. All the villas have a full kitchen with cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, pots/pans, cooking utensils, gadgets, small appliances and tableware such as dishes and eating utensils. There is a small welcome basket with local snacks provided. Daily housekeeping replenishes the coffee, tea, cream, sugar packets as well as the dish washing tablets and laundry detergent.
There’s also a combo all in one washer/dryer unit in the kitchen area to do your laundry. There are instructions to use the appliances; but just like the last time we stayed, we could never get the setting for the dryer to work quite right so we tended to under dry our items vs. getting them shrunk or melted!
All of the villas at this MVC property have a private plunge pool on the balcony off the living room. But the problem is that the water is freezing or pretty cold (for us at least) because the overhang above blocks any sun, which is probably great to prevent sun skin damage. The large pools look nice, but no shade.
The MVC Nusa Dua Terraces villas are nice, but no elevator. Just like the last time, we were assigned the floor unit and our personal preference is usually an upper unit. The timeshare buildings here are built on a hillside slope. So the floor/ground villas require going downstairs to get to the villa and walking upstairs to get back. If you have mobility issues, then the “2nd” floor units are what you want to avoid the stairs.
These villas are nice, but the master bathroom is a shower (albeit nice and large) only and no tub. And of course, we haven’t figured out the combo clothes washer’s drying setting.
Maybe we’re slightly biased (owners) towards the MVC Phuket Beach Club property and prefer that property a bit more, which is integrated with a JW Marriott Hotel because the three pools are large and have shaded areas. The Phuket property also is beach front, so direct beach access.
Even with our personal preferences towards the MVC Phuket property, we’d still rate the MVC Bali Nusa Dua Terraces a solid 5 with their friendly and efficient staff and would recommend staying here.
