We would love to come back, but only with breakfast.

We liked the Pommerschen Hof. We had a room on the upper floor, everything was very clean and attractively furnished. We used the indoor pool every day and also treated ourselves to two soothing massages. We had booked half board, which we cannot recommend. Breakfast was very varied and delicious. We had nothing to complain about and we were able to start the day well. Dinner was a themed buffet every day. Italian, English, Russian or Mecklenburg were presented on the menu at the entrance. Unfortunately, almost every day the dishes in question either ran out early or one or the other dish was not available. When we asked, we were unable to get any plausible answers. We found this really disappointing and went out to eat on the last evening. Otherwise, we had a lovely holiday in Heringsdorf and at the Pommerschen Hof, but the evening buffet, which was disappointing for us, should really be reconsidered. By the way, we were not alone in our opinion.

Rejection in the restaurant

Bad service in the restaurant.We wanted to eat lunch with our medium-sized, quiet dog on a snowy, cold day- we were denied, we were only allowed to eat in the lounge at a coffee table. Unique experience on Usedom . Otherwise always very extremely friendly behavior towards dogs on Usedom.

Great location, but ...

Basically a nice hotel with top location near the pier. It consists of several buildings connected underground. Hence a very confusing way to and from the underground car park, via stairs and elevators (first on 1st floor, then hallway, then other elevator back down to the ground floor to the reception). Towing the suitcase becomes cumbersome.
We had rooms out front diagonally above the glass conservatory. Two single rooms were fully glazed and the sun banged on them from sunrise. It was unbearably hot and stuffy. The question about a fan was answered with: “Trim mint tea !”. Unfortunately, it makes you feel...
Breakfast was rich, perfectly ok from my point of view.
The windows we had to open completely overnight because of the heat, which was ok at first. On Friday there was “dance tea” from 20:00. This turned out to be a disco in the conservatory, 3 m under the windows. Here was party until after midnight for about 8 - 12 people. With pop and shooting music. Several people complained during the night - they said there was nothing they could do, the DJ had My Plan. Contact via call at reception was not possible, however, as no one answered. The hotel audience was quite older and not necessarily the target group. The answers the next morning were that you knew that, some would complain, but that was so.
The next evening a beer cart was opened under the windows, which belongs to the hotel's own brewery. That's basically okay. However, here too a hard core of 5-8 people stocked up on plenty of beer until closing at 23:30 and then continued partying under the windows until about 01:30.
So either suffocate. in the much too warm room or not sleep due to noise pollution. Too bad.
The hotel should consider whether you want to be a hotel for recreation, or a shooting party booth for 10 to 12 people. You can't do either.

Good hotel with very good service near the beach

Good location near the beach. My double/single room was perfect, good bed, quiet, bathroom with walk-in shower - unfortunately not enough hooks, as in almost all hotels. The breakfast buffet was very varied and diverse. Excellently organized. No queues, because the coffee was brought directly to the table in a pot. The staff: very well trained with very attentive, yet unobtrusive service. You rarely experience that!! The reading corner with service was also nice, again very attentive, and a wonderful ambience in the winter garden. The indoor pool was a dream, you can really swim there. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. I felt very comfortable

Central location

We really liked the wellness area. Very big for a hotel, we enjoyed various treatments, all of which were carried out very professionally. The rooms are a good size, the beds very comfortable. There are some visible defects in the rooms and in the hotel. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired, very attentive service. We also had dinner once, which is recommended. The underground car park is very narrow and at €17 per day, quite expensive.
