Excellent inexpensive one-night hotel close to airport

We arrived in Quito at 12:30 am and wanted an airport hotel. I found this hotel. on Expedia and was surprised that it had 4/5 stars for $29 a night. We grabbed a cab for $10 for the 3 of us after getting our luggage and arrived about 15 minutes later just south of the airport. A little sketchy at first glance, but an all-night front desk person took our cash payment and led us to our clean and comfortable is slightly eccentric rooms. Our room had two queens and a twin bed, our friend had bunkbeds and a queen. We slept well, awoken at 7:30 and with the delivery of a full breakfast. Our ride wasn't coming until 10 am so we took our trays outside and found a delightful garden between the two parts of the hotel and spent our morning there talking to two ex-pat Americans who were waiting for their ride. It is a lovely place.

It’s a hostel

It’s a hostel with rooms that’s about it. Rooms are good with shower and bathroom maybe a little small. Easy location to get too from the airport.
A few small restaurants near by, wouldn’t recommend staying for more than one night as not much to do.

Great value and friendly staff

Clean and affordable property within minutes from the airport. Wifi works great. It’s a basic room but perfect for airport stop overs. They offer a complementary shuttle to the airport as well, making this a very good deal. The property is small but is uniquely designed. I really enjoyed it.
It says breakfast is included but the kitchen was not in operation so I’m not sure if this was a one off or not.
They only take cash - which is fine - but it didn’t say anything on the overview on a third party app- so not sure what happened there.
The staff were great and let me check in and sleep without paying and then when they took me to the airport I was able to get cash from an ATM. There was another guest that had to do the same thing.

Worth staying in if you need a hotel close to the airport.

I only stayed here for one night before my flight to the Galapagos Islands. The hotel is very close to the airport, approximately a 5 minute drive. It was a fixed price in a taxi of $10. The welcome was very friendly. The room was clean and very spacious. Breakfast is included in the room rate but I missed it due to an early flight. The hotel drops you back at the airport for free when you are departing which was a nice touch. Definitely worth a stay if you need a hotel close to the airport.

The cancer and AIDS of hotel industry

Avoid this place at all cost! Made reservation one month in advance and when we got there they told us that they gave our room to some other people! Horrible people! They never called to say that they cancelled the reservation! (Hotels.com) They never sent an email or even to let the website know they were not going to honor the reservation. For this people RESERVATION means NOTHING!
