Relaxing stay!
We loved our short stay in Landhotel Forsthof! The room was very clean, the wellness area is huge and very nice, with good saunas, turkish bath and a relaxing area. Very very clean and with all the comfort as towels, robes and slippers is provided. The breakfast was also very tasty! We could not recommend this place more :)

So far so great
Typical German - Austrian family hotel, clean and well kept. Dinner was great - I usually do not try the beef but did so since Austrians loves to fry their pork and that's just too heavy for me.
Weiss beer is great - having dinner outside under a canopy is perfect as well
If you come to this area, pick this hotel - everything I have experienced is great
Free wifi !
Family dog visited me during dinner - very gentle but doesn't know English commands

Fine Gasthof & Restaurant
A very nice hotel in Sierning, near Grunberg and Steyr. Room was fine, restaurant with large outdoor section was excellent and very busy. Typical Austrian menu with good beer & wine. Free parking. Clearly a popular local hangout.

A éviter absolument
Patron extrêmement désagréable. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre car elles empestaient le tabac froid.
La piscine extérieure est vétuste.
Le restaurant est absolument ordinaire.
Et nous avons assisté à une scène ahurissante où la femme du patron envoyait au petit déjeuner une cliente sur les roses parce qu’étant enceinte, elle lui demandait s’ils avaient du lait pasteurisé.
A éviter absolument.

Leider nein
Wir haben nach der Schließung unseres Lieblingsrestaurants Moser in Neuhofen an der Krems den Forsthof in Sierning als neues Familienrestaurant ausgewählt. Nach einigen sehr überzeugenden Besuchen war unser Familienlunch am 31.10.2021 absolut kein Highlight! Der Service war ok, aber das Essen war grad mal Durchschnitt. Negatives Highlight war ein Hirschrücken, 3 wirklich kleine Fleischwürferl, mit ein klein wenig Sauce und ein paar Schupfnudeln, total durchgebraten, und das um 39 Euro!
Liebes Forsthofteam, da ist Luft nach oben, vor allem wenn ich für 8 Erwachsene und 3 kleine Kinder 700 Euro für den Mittagstisch zahle!
